Cowboy says she’s missed you…

Cowboy looking interested in things.

Poor Cowboy. She’s been in the wars lately.

She’s just had a lot of her teeth extracted, so she dribbles a little bit right now (until she gets used to having the extra space in her mouth). Not only did she undergo dental surgery, she also caught conjunctivitis and a bad cold and cough.

So now, she’s not only got a sore mouth, she also has to suffer the nightly indignity of being manhandled into a big towel and having two syringes full of medicine jammed in her mouth for the next ten days.

Oh the plus side, she now has bright white sparkling incisors and much better kitty breath!

I hope she’s a forgiving (and forgetful) cat. :-}

Things on Cowboy’s Head

file-4

Background Note: Cowboy is one of our cats who showed up out of the blue one snowy January day nine years ago. Since then, she has made us her Forever Home (which works with us). She is big and friendly and doesn’t suffer fools gladly. She naps a lot (Olympic-level) and she eats a lot.

All of these points are helpful with this project that I have going on…

It’s called “Things on Cowboy’s Head” and I am just seeing what I can balance on the top of her head when she’s amenable to that. It’s been fun so far, and she seems quite happy to play along. (She just moves when she doesn’t want to participate.)

Things on Cowboy’s Head: Guest Post

Diablo

This is Diablo (above). From her moniker, you can get an idea about Diablo but she’s had a rough life so can’t really blame her. She’s in safe hands now, but Cowboy Cat is the only person in the world who can really understand Diablo’s somewhat “complicated” (shall we say) personality… Diablo does her best though. Aah. Bless…. 🙂
